Józef Drewniak
Józef Drewniak was born in 1945. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics
from the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland, in 1969 and 1975, respectively.
He received the D.Sc. degree in mathematics from the A. Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland, in 1990. From 1969 to 1976, he worked in the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Infomatics, Gliwice. Next, from 1976 to 2001, he worked at the Silesian University, Katowice, and from 2001 to 2016, at the University of Rzeszów as an academic teacher. Now he is retired. His research interests include convergence of iterative sequences, lattices and ordered semigroups, fuzzy sets, fuzzy numbers, fuzzy relations and fuzzy relation equations. He is the author or coauthor of more than 70 journal papers and over 20 conference presentations. He is a regular reviewer for many international journals and conferences.
